No MOD Squad member embodied that ideal better than Sophie from our Rochester Hills, Michigan restaurant. Sophie understood that her job wasn’t just to serve delicious pizza, but to touch the lives of those in her community and create a place where everyone is welcomed.
Sophie was an exceptional squad member who loved nothing more than delighting everyone that walked in the door with a friendly welcome and warm conversation. Her squad described her as a fiercely loyal friend and coworker who was always the first to lend a helping hand.
When Sophie tragically passed in January 2018, she left an unfillable hole in the hearts of every squad member at Rochester Hills. She will be remembered by her friends and family as a kind-hearted, bubbly person with a passion for animals, the outdoors, cheese, and an unmatchable talent for playing the Legend of Zelda.
To celebrate Sophie’s life and her unquestionable MODness, our spring seasonal pizza will be known as “The Sophie.” Memorials to Sophie may also be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
