Today MOD Pizza opened its first UK location in Leeds. The Grand Opening celebrates MOD’s international debut as well as a homecoming for MOD co-founders Scott and Ally Svenson, who lived and worked in London for nearly a decade.
The festivities in Leeds kick off the beginning of MOD’s journey in the UK, where three more leases have already been signed. It’s also the culmination of months of planning and training on the part of our dedicated MOD Squads on both sides of the pond. Members of the UK team spent nearly a month at our Seattle-based Support Center learning directly from MOD’s All-Star trainers and soaking up MOD’s authentic, people-centered culture. Members of the U.S. All-Star team travelled across multiple time zones to help train and support their UK counterparts for the big launch.
