Getting to know LifeWorks

“When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility, MOD does it from the heart. Not only do [they] hire and give others opportunities, [they] give back in other ways that better the community,” said Llyas Salahud-Din, Director of Major Gifts at LifeWorks.

On October 30th, MOD South Shore donated 100% of it’s opening day pizza sales to LifeWorks, an Austin based nonprofit focused on helping youth and young adults. Like MOD, LifeWorks believes in the “transformational power of acceptance” and we are proud to be supporting them. They work with thousands of young men and women who’ve endured circumstances that are unimaginable. From its emergency shelter and counseling services to education services, workforce training and transitional living – everything they do is focused on creating self-sufficient individuals, and in turn, strong, stable families. So far its been a blast working with LifeWorks and their incredible team. We look forward to continuing to work together to provide hope and opportunity for the community.

Thanks LifeWorks!
