House-roasted corn and cauliflower, along with spicy chicken sausage, feature on first special creation of 2017
SEATTLE (January 17, 2017) – MOD Pizza is kicking off the New Year with its winter seasonal pizza – the Bob. Debuting today, the Bob features a white sauce base topped with mozzarella, spicy chicken sausage, freshly roasted corn and cauliflower, complemented with red onions and a sprinkle of cilantro. The Bob will be available in all MOD locations across the U.S. through March 31, 2017.
“For our first seasonal pizza of the year, we wanted to focus on bright vibrant flavors and delicious vegetables. To achieve this, we brought back spicy chicken sausage, and are now roasting cauliflower and corn in-house daily. We love the flavor variation between the sweet and earthy vegetables and the spicy sausage, along with the extra pop of seasoning from the onion and cilantro,” said Brian Figler, Culinary Manager at MOD. “As always, our seasonal offering is a great way for customers to explore and discover new combinations for their pizzas, while always allowing them to make it their own.”
Spicy chicken sausage, roasted corn and roasted cauliflower will now be available as an option on any pizza or salad during this limited time. In addition to the Bob, guests can order any one of MOD’s nine classic, artisan-style pizzas or build their own creation choosing from more than 30 tempting toppings – all for one price. MOD also offers customized, hand-tossed salads, milkshakes, fresh-brewed iced teas, lemonades and local craft beer and wine at select locations.
MOD currently has over 190 locations in 20 states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as five locations in the U.K.
